D. J. Mishelevich, M.D., PhD

Dr. Mishelevich graduated with an M.D. and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He was Professor and Chairperson of the first Department of Medical Computer Science in the U.S. at The University of Texas Health Science Center (UTHSCD) at Dallas Southwestern Medical School. During early work on stereotactic Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (sTMS), he was a Consulting Professor of Neurosurgery at the Stanford Medical School; Dr. Mishelevich is an inventor on 46 patents (seven of which as a pro se inventor, without use of a patent attorney), 18 of which are in neuromodulation (13 in TMS, three in optogenetics, and two in ultrasound), with others pending.
