Sensations - Part 4 - What Is Sadness?

We shouldn't insist on ignoring sadness. We all have seen many people who are not really okay, but pretend to be alright and inject false well being. If we don't feel well, we shouldn't artificially urge ourselves to be so.

If we had a failure or have lost someone, we should give time to ourselves to think about it. Sadness isolates us. But... Like any other sensations, we shouldn't insist on remaining sad. Sadness is not created to bother us. It's available to find answers for the causes of failure or to teach us that nothing is permanent and to be more aware of important things and people we have around us.

Sadness should be respected, but shouldn't remain a long time because a destructive false sensation will emerge out of it like unreasonable hatred. We may turn into pessimistic people and suspect that people, even the ones that love us, are enemies.

Unmanaged sadness may result in being mad at simple things and make us loose-tempered. Again... Sadness is beneficial for us if we know how to manage and lead it.
