Our shame can be due to more then just avoiding public disapproval. There is something inside us which programs shame as a natural emotion. Want it or not, we have it. Beside, we know that our mind is a very valuable relic of the world of reality and essence. What it means is that any unethical actions are not beautiful. They don't come from the peace of mind.
