The most incredible definition I have ever read about life, was a great piece from the book "What's Life?" by "Erwin Schrödinger," a great physicist.
As I remember, the book said: "Anything can produce discipline out of disorder and irregularity could have called 'alive.'"
A very insightful theory which is accurate in daily life, in many degrees. Any alive organization must have been established from a united Mind emerging from irregular thoughts with a chaotic environment. The new mind which sets up a new game and owns its own rules.
